Leo P. Shelley
I was born in Secunderabad, TS, India, one of the greatest nations on earth.
I’m deeply grateful to the people and institutions of India, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, the UK, and the US, who have shaped my philosophy. My friendship with Dan is a remarkable contrast of ideologies; on the surface, we seem like polar opposites, as our belief systems often diverge. Yet, we discover common values that have fortified our friendship. Through this bond, I have gained unique insights into the US of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s—insights that go beyond what one can see in video narratives or read in books. Most importantly, I have learned that acceptance and tolerance are profoundly rewarding. Dan is the most loyal and reliable friend I could ask for, and I consider myself lucky to have him.
Through the story of Cowboy & Indian, we wish to present a case where four different people struggle to find common ground, and when they eventually do, it proves to be a rewarding and worthwhile struggle.
Talking about Unity is first good step, the next steps are more important.
